Capacity is 17% lower than average and ranks in the bottom 5% of new smaller size dryers. The WGD4890XQ holds about 1.2 cu ft less laundry than the average new dryer. Smaller is cheaper, but less convenient.
Sensor
Uses a moisture sensor to measure the water content of clothing as it tumbles, and automatically shuts-off the cycle when dry. Prevents clothing from being damaged by overheating and saves on energy costs.
